Sindhu Pulsirivong, aged mid-sixties, is a Thai engineer by profession and runs a sizeable engineering consultancy firm in Bangkok, which is in partnership with several large overseas consultancy engineering firms. He has been at the snooker scene under the Snooker Association of Thailand (now Billiards Sports Association of Thailand) for over 30 years, succeeding in 1998 the late Maurice H Kerr, the Founder ACBS President, till this very date.
He was once on the board of the World Professional Billiards & Snooker Association (now WSA) and, through his zealous dedication and leadership, he has brought Thai snooker to the forefront in Asia, with several Thai players currently competing in the UK professional circuit.
He was first elected the ACBS President in 1992, re-cycled in that capacity since 2000. He has held the presidency of the World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS) in 1988 and remains its Vice President till 2004.
He represents the ACBS on the board of the International Billiards & Snooker Federation (IBSF). Sindhu is currently influential within the billiards fraternity worldwide.
